I've been loving Lara Casey's goal setting help the past couple months, but I have yet to post about them on our blog. Anyway, just felt compelled to comment since I set so many of the same goals as you (eating breakfast daily, yoga, reading, home decor) that it's kind of crazy. A good, balanced life is a popular thing I guess ;) Good luck this March!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4576774577709834854.post-80774129576938360192014-03-07T11:49:48.913-06:002014-03-07T11:49:48.913-06:00Hey Kate! Isn't it crazy how quickly we become attached to our little pets? I'm so glad to hear that she is doing great right now, and I hope she continues to get better and stronger every day! I love setting goals to read two books! I do have some recommendations. I'm not sure what kind of books you like to read, but I tend to stay in the fiction genre lately. I definitely recommend The Fault in Our Stars. If you like Christian fiction, totally read either Redeeming Love (if you haven't already) or The Mark of the Lion series (3 books) both of which are by Francine Rivers. The Mark of the Lion Series is historical fiction and my all time favorite series. On a different side, I really enjoyed Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn- it got me hooked pretty quickly. And one that I haven't read but is on my list, Where'd you Go Bernadette? I've heard many people have liked that one. I hope this helps! :) Thanks again for stopping by. I buzzed through some of your recent posts too, and I wanted to say that I can totally relate to the stressed kitty mama feelings. About a year ago, my husband and I adopted our sweet pit bull Hershey and found out a month later that she has cancer. So much crying and anxiety and praying and trying to rely on God as I worried about her and tried to control the situation. She has had three surgeries to keep her healthy and is doing great at this (hopefully she can keep going strong for many years!), but its has been hard. Goals, specifically--I also set the goal to read two books this month. I am heading out on a vacation so that will help, but I'm waffling around on what books to bring along. Any recommendations?
